Harrison Strauss is a name that needs no introduction to those that have any knowledge of Baildon Rugby Club. A previous first XV captain, he is a man that leads by action, paving the way for all to follow.

Whether playing back row, centre or hooker, he puts his body on the line and is a man mountain in defence, punching well above his size. The players already respect H and there is no doubt that he will have a huge impact on the playing squad as part of his leadership role.

"It’s an honour to be named a leader of this great group of players and this club as it is where I started as a junior.

I will be working with Grant and the other leaders to help get the best out of the players at training and on match day, so we can continue building on the successes of the last couple of seasons."
