Protocols for the Baildon Thursday TAG Rugby Club
Parental Presence:
Parents are required to remain present during tag rugby sessions with their children. Baildon Rugby Club emphasises that it is not a childcare provider and encourages parental attendance. The club's coaches are volunteers, and parental presence ensures the best possible support for both coaches and participants. The club's bar will be open starting May 10th, aiming to incentivise parental attendance.
2. Personal Discipline (PD):
Two-Strike System: Participants are subject to a two-strike system regarding personal conduct. Upon the first offense, a *verbal warning* will be issued. If the offense is repeated, including but not limited to acts of violence, use of profanity, or engaging in physical altercations, the participant will be immediately removed from the session in its entirety. This strict approach aims to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all participants, especially considering the diverse range of children attending.
3. Registration Process:
Weekly Registration: Parents are required to register their child every week before participating in the tag rugby session. This registration process serves as a vital organisational tool and ensures that coaches are informed of the children participating. The registration form will be available in the club's bar for easy access and completion.
These rules aim to uphold the values of safety, respect, and organisation within the Baildon Rugby Club's tag rugby sessions.
