It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Tony Little on Wednesday 5th November.
Tony had been a proud and devoted member of the club for well over 55 years — serving as a player, committee member, life member, chairman, second team manager, minibus driver, the most honest of linesmen, and a truly dedicated supporter. A minute’s silence was held before last Saturday’s games in remembrance of Tony.
Many will remember his booming voice, warm smile, and his trademark hospitality — always ready with a cup of coffee (often with a nip of whiskey) at full-time.
Tony’s funeral will take place on Monday 24th November at 11:15am at Shay Grange, followed by a gathering at Baildon Rugby Club.
He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
